Out of the Earth


Out of the Earth opened on California Street in the summer of the year 2000, and is located in downtown Ventura, California, just 3 blocks north from our beautiful beach, and 3 blocks east from historic San Buenaventura mission.			Our store is wee, but loaded with a wonderful assortment of fine gift ideas, as well as beautiful items for home and garden. New items arrive weekly! We also have a great selection of greeting cards for all occasions, as well as blank cards for more creative writers.

We carry a nice assortment of unusual and lovely geodes and other beautiful minerals.			Our Quartz crystals and other minerals are individually hand- picked for quality, interest, brilliance & energy.

Out of the Earth carries crystals and minerals from the tiny to the grand, like these amethyst and citrine crystals.			Rose Quartz, Fluorite and Shiva Lingams.

We also carry a nice selection of fossils for the collector.			We carry many hand-crafted items made by American artists.

Besides our minerals, we have a wonderful array of gifts for the cat and dog lover, as well as other animal giftware.			*Our Dream Catchers and Medicine wheels are made by the Ojibwa and Navajo peoples. We also offer sage that is always* harvested in a respectful manner--we make sure of it.**

We carry incense from Japan, India and the United States, as well as a variety of holders.			Lots of wall art: tapestries, metal hangings and framed prints. too!

Beautiful jewelry from around the world made from natural stones, minerals and crystals, set in sterling.			We carry a wonderful assortment of rings, pendants, bracelets and other meaningful, energizing pieces.

We also carry faceted, leaded crystals and hand-blown hanging glass for Feng Shui purposes--or just to let some rainbows into your life!			Fairies, and other winged delights! (And don't forget those frog lovers....) We also have many butterfly, dragonfly, hummingbird and angel gifts.

Soy candles are a bio-degradable, vegetable wax that burns cleaner and longer than traditional paraffin candles. Because soy wax is a softer wax than petroleum-based paraffin, it is able to retain the fragrance within the wax. That means you can smell the delightful scents while the candles are burning! Soy candles can be cleaned up with hot water, are better for the environment (and, therefore, for you, too) and are virtually soot-free!		Ahhhhh! And my favorite thing? MUSIC--and lots of it!
