What to do in the garden this month

With the moon waxing until the 2nd of May NZ time, it is time to harvest some of my Echinacea.

Having just rained again, the soil is soft enough to get the whole of the roots out easily.

Now until the 2nd of May is the right time to harvest any roots. Dandelion, burdock, withania . It is said that you should only harvest on the second flowering, but I find anytime is ok as long as its a waxing moon and the plant has finished flowering.
